The Mission of the Organization is to tend to the social needs of the Qawra community by providing food and social assistance to individuals and families seeking our help, and provide a safe meeting place for people feeling solitude.
To this end, the FWA has the following Objectives,
- Maintain a premises with the facilities of a canteen from where free meals can be served;
- Distribute free of charge, hot meals and / or foodstuffs on a daily basis to individuals and families who require social assistance;
- Maintain a small store with foodstuff ready to be provided to those asking for sustenance;
- Provide a secure meeting place for people feeling solitude;
- Raise activities and organize resources coming from grants, donations, crowd funding, sponsorships and any other source;
- Have trained members addressing hardships emanating from social issues and provide assistance, instruction, guidance, referral or other, as necessary;
- Collaborate with any other organization having similar objectives;
The FWA regularly participates in the Qawra Community Service Network Meetings and contributes actively.
